Orissa Alloy Steel Pvt. Ltd. (OASPL) is one of the largest integrated steel plants in eastern India. Strategically located in Kharagpur, West Bengal, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to manufacture Reinforcement Steel Bars, Corrosion-Resistant TMT Bars, and Round Bars, all produced from virgin iron ore, ensuring unmatched purity, strength, and durability.

OASPL is the largest producer of Sponge Iron in West Bengal, with an impressive capacity of 2.00 MTPA through advanced DRI furnaces. Supporting its energy requirements, the plant operates an in-house captive power plant comprising 178 MW WHRB and 45 MW CFBC, ensuring uninterrupted and energy-efficient production.

The company manufactures TMT Bars (Brand: OASPL GREEN), CRS TMT Bars, and Round Bars conforming to BIS standards (IS 1786:2008 and IS 432 Part-1) with a substantial capacity of 1.425 MTPA. OASPL’s steel refining capabilities include Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) and Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), enabling the production of high-quality billets and TMT Bar with controlled chemistry as per IS 14650:2023 and IS 1786:2008.
